Design Brief
Sinaloa 204 is a residential project located in the neighborhood Roma Norte in Mexico City, an area renowned for its rich cultural and artistic heritage. The existing house holds patrimonial value. The architectural design aims to develop a two-level single-family residence with a semi-basement, preserving the original façade and its first structural bay. In a subsequent phase, the project envisions the incorporation of five independent apartment units distributed over three additional levels, each with direct street access. The proposed configuration includes four units of 40 m² and one penthouse unit of 80 m². From its inception, the project was conceived to be executed in two phases. The first phase involves the construction of the single-family residence, incorporating a central courtyard intended for future vertical circulation. The second phase includes the construction of the vertical core and the addition of three residential levels. The structural design was developed from the outset to accommodate the vertical extension, supporting a total of up to five stories.
