Design Brief
The hotel is located on a plot of approximately 9 hectares and features 115 keys, with the highlight being the Grand Reserve Villa, which spans over 550 m². The architectural design aims to blend the buildings with the desert, allowing for a seamless transition between nature and interior spaces. Positioned on a hill behind two sand dunes facing the ocean, it offers spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez. The rooms are distributed across 40 two-level buildings, providing privacy and a unique atmosphere for each unit. A triple-height cube wrapped in corten steel houses the main bar, becoming the architectural icon of the complex. The main pool, alongside the casual restaurant, creates a lively atmosphere through light coverings and vibrant colors, while a second, more tranquil pool is situated among natural rocks. At the center of the plot, a natural depression was adapted to house the spa, surrounded by palm trees and abundant vegetation, offering the feeling of an oasis in the desert while ensuring guest privacy.
