Baja Bay is an exclusive ultra-luxury residential development where TAHR was selected as one of the international Preferred Architects to design a prototype residence. Their proposal stands out for its contemporary design that reimagines desert living in harmony with the surrounding mountains, natural light, and sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez. The residence is organized around a central courtyard, with the living and dining areas seamlessly connected to the outdoors through fully retractable sliding glass walls. This design creates visual depth and enables cross-ventilation, enhancing thermal comfort and spatial continuity. The concept aims to dissolve the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, offering a living experience immersed in nature. Desert light plays a central role on the project, interacting with materials such as steel, wood, and plaster finishes to create dynamic visual effects that shift throughout the day. The home includes six bedrooms, a TV lounge, a covered terrace, a swimming pool, and a jacuzzi, totaling 800 m² of built area on lots averaging 1,200 m².
