TAHR is a firm backed by the solid trajectory of its partners, whose experience was forged through previous architectural ventures. Since 2022, Pablo Blasco, Jesús Fernández, and Sofía Bezaury—former partners and members of Abax—joined forces with Héctor de la Peña, former director of BulAu Arquitectos, to consolidate their joint practice under the name TAHR, Taller de Arquitectura Hotelera y Residencial (Workshop for Hospitality and Residential Architecture). TAHR continues the legacy of its founders, integrating a distinctive contemporary vision.

Previously known as Abax for over 40 years, the former studio was founded with a passion for creating bespoke spaces—sensitive to context and crafted with precision and care. Re-structured as TAHR, the studio’s approach is grounded in a profound understanding of high-end architecture and a collaborative design process involving architect, client, and builder. This allows all stakeholders to engage fully in the design process and share in a collective commitment to excellence. With a solid team and a sustainable long-term structure, TAHR aspires to become one of Mexico’s most globally recognized firms in luxury hospitality and residential typologies.
