Pablo Blasco Hernández

Principal - CEO

Born in Mexico City. Architect from Universidad LaSalle joined Abax in 1997. After continuing his career in Kaplan McLaughin Diaz (KMD), a San Francisco-based architectural firm, he rejoins Abax as Director for hospitality, residential and commercial projects. He is currently CEO of the firm, focusing on servicing developers to meet each project’s specific needs through a modern vision with high architectural quality.

Jesús Fernández Soto

Principal - Director of Architecture

Jesús joined Abax in 1983. Due to his important and successful professional work he became an active partner in 1986. With a strong dedication to quality Jesus has been in charge to design several projects, most of them vertical and horizontal residential developments, his philosophy reflects the balance between function and form. As a Principal and Project Director he offers technical knowledge and meticulous detail design where he drives the firm´s performance into a high-quality standard of design.

Sofía Bezaury Madero

Principal - Interior Design Director

Sofia’s passion for architecture and interior design brings creative, aesthetic, and functional designs to Mexican architecture. Her thirst for knowledge and curiosity pushes her to create spaces that offer users the experience of surprising through the integration of spaces, materials, and finishes. She joined the firm in 2017 as FF&E and OS&E acquisitions manager for various hospitality projects, currently she is an associate and project manager offering innovative design solutions.

Héctor de la Peña López

Principal - Design Director

With a focus on simple compositional foundations and an intuitive structural approach Héctor’s work is defined by his deep passion for architectural design. His expertise enhances the firm’s ability to develop innovative concepts and schematic designs, specializing in Housing, Cultural and Mixed-Use projects. Héctor has contributed to the academic field as a Professor at the Faculty of Architecture of La Salle University since 2008 and has also served as a guest professor at Universidad Iberoamericana and Universidad Anáhuac.

Diego, an architect from UNAM with over 10 years of experience, has participated in various projects that combine creativity, functionality, and a clear vision of each space’s needs. He joined TAHR in 2022, bringing fresh ideas, experience, and great passion for design to the team.

Alfonso Paz
Senior Architect

Alfonso, an architect from UNAM, has over 10 years of experience. His career has been centered on executing comprehensive projects, from conception to materialization. He combines management skills with deep aesthetic and functional sensitivity and excels in creatively translating complex ideas into clear architectural solutions.

Claudia Gomez Farias
Project Manager

Claudia is a Mexican architect who graduated from Universidad La Salle, with over 20 years of experience in design. She has worked in both construction management and project direction and has been a Project Manager at TAHR since 2022.

Manuel Bucio
Senior Architect & Office Manager

Manuel, an architect from UNAM, began his professional career in 1995 as a project architect. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in design, coordination, and project management. For more than a decade, he has worked with the team as a project manager, leading teams and managing large-scale projects.

Carlos Gonzalez
Senior Architect

Carlos González, an architect graduated from UNAM, has over 20 years of experience in executive project development and project coordination. Since 2024, he has been part of TAHR, contributing precision, commitment, and a comprehensive perspective to the construction process.

Hector Grajales
Bim Manager

Héctor, an architect from UAM, has nearly 20 years of experience in projects utilizing BIM methodology and over 15 years in programming applied to design software. He has shared his knowledge at Autodesk University conferences, focusing on the use of computational tools for the prefabrication industry.

Mónica Mendoza
Administrative Assistant

Mónica graduated from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional with a degree in Civil Engineering. She works as an administrative assistant, playing a crucial role in the company's daily operations, providing administrative and office support to directors and the workshop team.

Estefanía Ramos
Junior Architect

Estefanía is an architect who graduated from La Salle University, where she specialized in urban rehabilitation. At TAHR, she focuses on the development of architectural projects, actively participating in their conceptualization and various stages of the design process. She also contributes to the creation of presentations that clearly communicate project ideas, ensuring that the design remains aligned with the studio’s identity.

Salvador Durán
Junior Architect

Salvador is an architect who graduated from La Salle University, with a specialization in Project Management and Administration. Since January 2023, he has been part of the TAHR team, where he brings a strategic and comprehensive vision to architectural development. His work focuses on optimizing the efficiency, functionality, and design of each proposal, combining creativity with strong 3D modeling skills to translate ideas into concrete and well-executed solutions.

Nohelia Romano
Junior Architect

Nohelia, an architect who graduated from Universidad La Salle in 2024, is passionate about design. She supports the creation of conceptual proposals, project development, and the generation of renders. Her approach combines creativity and precision to clearly and attractively communicate ideas.

Florencia Cielo
Junior Architect

Florencia graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM. Her academic background allows her to approach projects from a comprehensive perspective, combining design, functionality, and efficiency. She specializes in the development of architectural proposals as well as the creation of 3D visualizations and graphic presentations.

Abax was founded in 1982 by architect Fernando de Haro. Alongside Jesús Fernández, Pablo Blasco, and other essential members of the team, they established a practice distinguished by precision and a thoughtful design approach. Following several changes over time, Fernando, Pablo, and Jesús assumed leadership of the firm, guiding its direction in recent years.

TAHR acknowledges the legacy of Abax and continues the studio’s vision while introducing new proposals shaped by a contemporary architectural approach.
